For the first time in a long time, there are less than 20,000 homes for sale in Utah.  This is good news for the recovery of real estate in Utah.  As real estate inventory goes down and there is less competition, home prices will eventually stabilize if interest rates stay down.  Rising interest rates will cause our inventory to increase.  The fed knows this and is trying to keep the real estate market alive.  At one point probably in 2010 interest rates will begin to rise and inventory will climb again.
