A quick vent here about what is and what is not effective marketing.  Emailing your listings to me is NOT effective marketing.  It is spam.  Most of it comes through as spam and the rest I simply delete without looking at it.  I already know about your Utah homes for sale and you already know about mine.  Please find something that effectively utilizes your time to market your listings.  I realize it is a difficult market and many new Realtors are struggling to stay in the business but spamming your listings will NOT help them sell. 

It just gives you and your brokerage a bad name.  Nobody is interested in seeing agents listings spammed.  Our listings are shared on the multiple listing service.  I rarely see any of the larger more successful brokerages using spam.  I usually see inexperienced unknown brokerages that think this will help sell thier listings by mega spamming every agent in Utah.

Once in a while I get mailed listing information.  I get about 10 hand flyers delivered to my mailbox at my RE/MAX office every day.  What a waste of time and money.  I take all spam mail from other brokerages mostly unopened and drop it straight in my garabage.  In 14 years I never ever look at the flyers in my RE/MAX mailbox.  This is because I am too busy and will not support spam.  

On second thought I should bring the flyers home and give it to my kids for scrap paper.  This will be better for the environment!
